Measure What Matters: Transforming CTE Assessments

Cheryl McDonough

This course helps CTE educators design meaningful, career-connected assessments that capture true mastery of knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking. Participants will develop practical reflection routines, identify industry-aligned competencies, and create focused assessment systems that support learning throughout instruction. Emphasis is placed on producing authentic evidence of problem-solving, application, and technical proficiency through assessment for learning, as learning, and of learning.
**This course is offered in partnership with Vermont State University; Graduate and Undergraduate credits are available.
